EMMA Challenge Tandem Sprint Racing: Sunday August 8th

Everyone that participates in a Saturday race, tour or clinic and those that have paid the THKF General Admission are eligible. You don’t need kayak experience to enter the EMMA CHALLENGE TANDEM SPRINT RACE on Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:40 pm. A single inflatable buoy marker will be placed 1/4 mile from the starting line in Burlington Bay. The kayaker(s) must go around the buoy and back as fast as possible. Stable tandem kayaks of the same design will be provided for each team. Teams will be classified as follows: adult male with adult male, adult female with adult female, adult male with adult female, big kid (15 years old or younger) with another big kid, adult with child (under 10 years old) and two employees from the same THKF sponsor organization. A brief award ceremony with draw prizes will be held in the Registration Tent at 1:00pm. Tap into the fun and earn the bragging rights that come with sprint racing fame. In between tandem starts solo kayaks will be allowed to do time trials for fun.

Registration for Emma race will be done  on Sunday the day of the Race.
