5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Participant check‐in: Burlington Bay

6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Reception for sponsors, racers, tour and clinic participants at Burlington Bay

Saturday, August 7

7:00 am to 8:30 am Race Day Packet Pick‐Up

7:00 am to 10:00 am Pancake Breakfast

8:15 am MANDATORY Race Meeting

9:00 am GRE 18‐mile Marathon Start (course closes at 3:00 pm)

9:00 am to 4:30 pm Youth & Family Kayak Instruction: (each session is 1.5 hours)
             Ages 12 ‐ 16: 9:00 am‐‐with family
             Ages 12 ‐ 16: 1:00 pm‐‐youth only
             Ages 8 ‐ 11: 11:00 am‐‐with family
             Ages 8 ‐ 11: 3:00 pm‐‐youth only

9:10 am GRE Marathon Unlimited Composite Class Start

9:30 am Betty’s Pies Race Start (course closes at 1:00 pm)

9:30 am to 3:30 pm 3 Hour Tours for Beginners: tours begin promptly at 9:30 am,     10:30 am and 12:30 pm

10:00 am to 3:00 pm Youth Open Paddling

10:00 am to 4:00 pm Equipment Demo

10:00 am to 6:00 pm Brown Bag Fundraiser

10:30 am to 2:30 pm Chair Massages offered for a fee by Bodies In Balance and Judy Wick

11:00 am to 3:00 pm Youth Kayak Races

11:00 am to 3:00 pm Climbing Wall

1:30 pm to 3:30 pm On‐Water Clinics: All clinics will run simultaneously and include: Basic Paddle Strokes, Kayak Rolling, Deep Water Rescue and Paddle Clinic for Women

3:30 pm to 4:30 pm Mississippi Kayak Trip Presentation by Ann and Joe Zellner

4:30 pmto 5:30 pm Song & Story by Les fils du voyageur (The Sons of the Voyageur)

5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Supper with the Paddlers
