Tours

On-site registration is available; however, clinics and tours fill up fast. Pre-registration is encouraged. Check-in at the Registration Tent prior to the clinics and tours is required. Clinic participants must be at least age 16, and may bring their own boat or rent one. Bring a swim suit, sun screen, water bottle and a pair of shoes that will get wet. Clinic and Tour fees include all Festival Activities.

Tours: (All Equipment is provided for tours)

Split Rock Lighthouse Tour: (Friday only, 4.5 hours) Enjoy a day of kayaking and historical discovery at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. This tour provides a rich history of life on Lake Superior's North Shore. Meets at Burlington Bay, and includes instruction and equipment. Note: Four participants are required for this tour. If less than four people register, the tour will be cancelled and fees will be refunded.

Bay to Bay Tour: (Saturday & Sunday, 3 hours) Explore the very bays that give Two Harbors its name. Enjoy kayaking instruction in the shelter of Burlington Bay. Once we find our sea legs, it's off to the loading docks at Agate Bay. Venture out to open water, and if the conditions are right, feel Lake Superior swells slip beneath our boats. Experience the activity of a working harbor as we paddle by ships from around the world. 

Marathon Tour: (Saturday Only, 7 hours) Ever wonder where those marathoners go after the gun sounds? Here is your chance to find out. Paddle the same course they do, but at our own pace. The main goal here is to make it back in time for dinner. Includes instruction and a picnic lunch.

2 Hour Family Tour: (Sunday Only) Use tandem or single kayaks for an exploration of Burlington Bay while receiving basic safety skills and paddling technique instruction.
